SD or Side Discharge or Hi flo models are probably the most common spa pump used at least in my area and career.
It's also very common to see these with the wet end portion rotated 90 degrees to make the plumbing come in lower.
You can't go wrong with these pumps. They can be used as generic replacements for most anything out there.
The older versions of this pump were more square as seen in the picture on the right.
The internals of the old and new are the same in case you still have an old model needing rebuild parts.
The shaft seal is the #1000. The impeller will usually not come off when replacing the seal on a older pump.
Pay attention to the wear ring on the front of the impeller. Without it you will lose a little pressure.
These were made in 3/4 up to 4 hp sizes.

TM is the small circulation pump from waterway. It comes in 2 versions, 1" barbed and 1" threaded unions.
These are pretty decent little pumps for the money. they have a conventional motor and they have a standard mechanical shaft seal that can be replaced.
This is the waterway Iron mite circulation pump. It's a s big as a standard jet pump although not as long.
If you are going thru the little small circulator pumps like laing and grundfos then you need one of these. It will do the job and not over work it.
