SP known as the center discharge, very common
pump on older spas.
Not used that much anymore but still
a very
solid choice for an older or smaller
spa.
Came in 3/4 up to 2 HP models. Uses
the #1000
shaft seal.
If you are rebuilding ww pumps don't
worry
if the impeller breaks off.
these use the 1.5" pump unions,
very
common fitting.

BT or bath models are basically the same
exact pump as the center discharge above.
Except the front face cover is made differently.
The cover design allows the wet end to drain
more fully.
These are used in whirlpool and jacuzzi
type
jetted tubs. |

SD or Side Discharge or Hi flo models are
probably the most common spa pump used
at
least in my area and career.
It's also very common to see these
with the
wet end portion rotated 90 degrees
to make
the plumbing come in lower.
You can't go wrong with these pumps.
They
can be used as generic replacements
for most
anything out there.
The older versions of this pump were
more
square as seen in the picture on the
right.
The internals of the old and new are
the
same in case you still have an old
model
needing rebuild parts.
The shaft seal is the #1000. The impeller
will usually not come off when replacing
the seal on a older pump.
Pay attention to the wear ring on the
front
of the impeller. Without it you will
lose
a little pressure.
These were made in 3/4 up to 4 hp sizes.

PF is the Executive series. very similiar
to the hi-flow but larger and moves
more
water.
These come in 48 and 56 frame motor
versions.
The waterway code does not tell us
which
you might have so be sure when ordering
a
replacement.
These wet ends come in a 2 and a 2-1/2"
suction size. If both of your fittings
are
the same then you have the 2"
If the front fitting is larger then
you have
the 2-1/2" version. You have to
look
close to see difference in the front
fitting.
These use the #1000 shaft seal. They
have
a wear ring on front of the impeller
and
it is different on the 4 and 5hp models.
made in 48 and 56 frame versions. 48
use
the inner mounting holes and 56 the
outer
on the back of the wet end. |

TM is the small circulation pump from waterway.
It comes in 2 versions, 1" barbed
and
1" threaded unions.
These are pretty decent little pumps
for
the money. they have a conventional
motor
and they have a standard mechanical
shaft
seal that can be replaced. |

This is the waterway Iron mite circulation
pump. It's a s big as a standard jet
pump
although not as long.
If you are going thru the little small circulator
pumps like laing and grundfos then you need
one of these. It will do the job and not
over work it. |
